UAE Golden Visa documents depend on the applicant category. Most files include identity and status records, but the decisive evidence changes by route: property records for investors, employment and education evidence for professionals, financial proof for company owners, and project approval for entrepreneurs. Use this checklist to prepare, then confirm the live requirements with the receiving authority.
Important: This checklist was reviewed on 8 June 2026. ICP, GDRFA Dubai, land departments and nominating authorities may request different or additional documents. A Golden Visa is residence, not citizenship.

The UAE Government and GDRFA Dubai separate public/company investment from entrepreneurship. Use the business-owner and entrepreneur route guide before selecting documents.
MoFA attestation confirms signatures and official seals. MoFA's current service requires an original document in Arabic or English, or a legal translation, and prior certification by the appropriate governing bodies. Digital attestation is available only for eligible UAE-issued digital documents with a verification mechanism; other documents use the applicable courier or mission process (UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Follow this order to avoid paying for the wrong process:
Capitals28 attestation and legal-translation services can assist with preparation within the stated service scope.
Genuine documents can still form a weak application when they contradict one another. Compare:
Do not alter an official record informally to make it match. Use lawful correction, amendment, linking or explanatory evidence.
Create one indexed folder for identity records and a second for route-specific evidence. Use clear filenames such as 01-passport, 02-current-visa and 10-property-status-letter rather than camera-generated names. Keep complete documents together; do not upload selected pages from a contract, statement or certificate unless the service expressly asks for an extract.
For each file, check:
MoFA distinguishes eligible digital documents from paper documents that require the applicable submission or courier process. A scan of a paper certificate does not become an officially verifiable digital document merely because it is uploaded online (UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Keep a matching offline archive of everything submitted, including application forms, payment receipts, authority correspondence and replacement documents. This makes it easier to answer a request for clarification without rebuilding the file.
No. Identity records overlap, but qualifying evidence is route- and authority-specific.
Use the period specified by the receiving service. GDRFA Dubai currently specifies six months of salary-transfer statements for its skilled-worker route; other records may have different freshness rules.
Not necessarily. MoFA accepts originals in Arabic or English, or legal translations. The receiving authority may impose additional language requirements.
Capitals28 can review document readiness, flag inconsistencies and coordinate relevant residence, attestation, legal-translation, business, tax and property support within its stated scope. The competent authority decides whether the applicant and evidence qualify.
